Superwash

This high-twist 2-ply yarn is soft, bouncy and wonderfully textured, while still being robust and hard-wearing. Although it contains no nylon, it can be used successfully for socks when knitted at a tight gauge (around 2.25 mm needles). Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) wool has a naturally long staple length, and the high-twist construction adds extra strength and durability.

The yarn has a lovely toothy character and excellent stitch definition, making it particularly well suited to colourwork, cables and textured knitting.
